Estate Master trimmer Malcolm Page with skipper Matt Belcher finished a handy 5th at their first 470 Worlds together in the same boat.

Belcher and Page took victory in the Medal Race to jump two positions to fifth overall, with the medal race win all the more impressive as it was their only first placing of the regatta.

Matt and Mal now head to Weymouth, UK for the Skandia Sail for Gold regatta, the first of the major pre-Olympic regattas at the Olympic venue. The team will use the regatta as a chance to get to know the local conditions. Racing begins 14th September.
